A principle is a foundational assumption that will help inform how execution happens and how decisions are made. A principle should evolve over time and with much friction, it shouldn't be easy to change a foundation.

• A principle should not be a truism like "build delightful product". Instead there should exist an opposite for the principle.
• Similar in some ways to Dogma in that you have to believe this to be true without much proof.
• It's a tool for Making decisions, for opting for one thing over another
• Could be as simple as take the right path every time you come to a fork
