Draft fast. edit slow.

Based on the idea that a blank page is a formidable obstacle. So one of the best ways of getting started is to get a draft down fast. Once you get a first version down, you'll iterate towards good. It's much easier and faster than trying to write something good from the beginning.
- Put everything on the paper. Don't worry about the first paragraph, you'll figure it out closer to the end.
- As you write, add in comments on the direction you can go. The goal here is to get everything down.
- Walk away, give it time to review your first draft with fresh eyes.
- At any point if you feel like you're hitting a wall, just walk away. Or talk to someone.
