Menubar Tools
The tools that I have constantly running on my Mac:
- Numi - Ledger based calculator app. I have a hotkey setup to quickly open this up.
- Amphetamine - Stops your computer from going to sleep, a must-have for presentations.
- Moom - Window manager, allows you to quickly resize windows.
- 1Password - Password manager, if you're not using a password manager...please stop what you are doing and set up 1password.
- Itsycal - Quickly see a calendar view (not as needed now that MacOS has the control center view).
- Kap - Open source screen recording tool.

At the basic level this is a replacement for Spotlight. At a more advanced level, you can use it for workflows, clipboard history, text expansion, and more.
Tips
- I have set up text expansion for email and phone number
- @@p - expands to my primary email address
- @@w - expands to my work email
- ##p - expands to my primary phone number
Development
- Visual Studio Code is my editor of choice
- iTerm2 is my terminal
- Homebrew to install packages
- zsh is my shell of choice. I use oh-my-zsh or antigen to add further customizations
