Estimate using poker. Everyone writes out their story point estimate without seeing the other answers. Discuss between the high and lows if there is variance.

Mini IPM
- 15-30 min meeting w/ 2+ Engineers to point a few stories
- Think of it as a side-of-desk quick IPM sync

Pre-IPM
- 30-45 min meeting w/ 1-2 Engineers instead of entire team (ideally w/ Senior) to discuss stories before IPM
- Pair to discuss important implementation notes, questions/blockers, potential Eng Review items, etc. No story pointing.
- Also used if the IPM conversation goes too long on a specific topic
