Product & Technology
A pod will general consist of:
- 5-7 Dev
- 1 PM
- 1 Designer
- 1 Tech Lead (responsible for the technology, the how) and/or Engineering Manager (responsible for the people, the who and when)
When creating a new pod, there are a few options:
- Grow one large pod and split into two - Useful if they are focusing on the same area of the product.
- Start a new mini pod and grow - Use this approach if it's a new area of the product that requries exploration.
A long with the pod are shared resources:
- 1 User Research : 10 Design
- 1 DevOps : 15 Dev
